Recent Congrats to Mike and Darlene Furlong for firing a 74 in the Couples Golf Outing last week!   Also congrats to Mary Brunais for beating the men this past weekend in the Sunday member’s game with a +7 points total.
The recent greens aerification has healed and we are now in the process of speeding the greens up.   Our hope is to have the greens rolling about 10 on the stimpmeter in the coming weeks.   The warm winter has also help with bermuda grass (fairways and roughs) coming out earlier that ever before.   We hope to have winter conditions behind us and good spring conditions for your enjoyment.

The Anderson Creek Golf Committee is starting its “Adopt a Hole Program” for the months of April and May.   Those interested in adopting a hole on the golf course should contact Jon or Dale to sign up.  Adopting a hole involves voluteering some time to repair ball marks on “your” green and also filling divots with sand in the fairway.  This is done in April and May as these months are so critical with the heavy spring play and the upcoming summer heat.

All that participate will be treated to a cookout and 9-hole golf outing with the professional staff near the end of May.
We again remind you to check our website (andersoncreekgolf.com) and go to events to check all tournament and match results, league standings, and upcoming events.  We will do our best to keep the event calendar up-to-date and keep you informed through our website what is ahead.   We also ask that league directors get any results to us as quickly as possible so that we may post the results on our site.

Also Upcoming ACLGA 9-hole Exhibition – Saturday, April 14th @ 1:00 1st ACLGA Monthy Tournament – Sunday, April 15 1st Members Monthly Tournament – Saturday April 21
